MUSE Global School prides itself in bringing more to your child’s education than just academics. We teach the whole child, which involves going beyond academics and teaching them throughout various avenues. Students will experience Specialist Courses, Outdoor Education, Human Rights, International & Domestic Travel Opportunities, Process Communication Model (PCM) and of course, individual passions.
At MUSE Global high school, students are now working towards their Sustainability Award at graduation, taking weekly classes in Seed to table and Cooking with the MUSE Head Chef, where they continue service learning collaborations with local organizations and charities. High schoolers at MUSE now have opportunities to take additional specialist and elective classes such as visual arts, performing arts, human rights book club, creative writing, storytelling, yearbook, coding, yoga and leadership. Internships and mentorships opportunities are encouraged around their passion topics of choice where students work with experts and local organizations to further their real world experience. Past internships have included Line 6, Yamaha, Drone Dudes, JPL, and Scripps. They also are now taking 3-4 day overnight Outdoor Education excursions. Past trips have included Zion National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley National Park, and Kern National Wildlife Refuge. Students are eligible to apply for our 8 day international visual arts trip. Past trips have included Tokyo, Japan and Florence, Italy.
Through our Human Rights program, High school students are now open to apply for the week-long domestic service learning trips to Cheyanne River reservations in South Dakota and Mending Kids (Doctors without Borders) service learning trips to Guatemala. MorethanSexEd.org continues health and wellness workshops throughout the school year with high schoolers.
