Theresa McAlister-Karvon

While working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 20 years, Theresa approaches everyday as an opportunity to inspire, learn, and see the beauty of the world around her through the eyes and  laughter of children. She believes that a child’s creativity and curiosity fuels their learning and keeps them motivated to keep exploring and developing their skills and interests.

She graduated from Pacific Oaks College in December of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Two of her passions are spending time outdoors hiking and nature photography, a goal she  has is to bring these two passions into the lives of children and to publish a book with their photos and call it “Seeing the world through the child’s perspective.”

Her dream is to travel to Yosemite and Scotland where she can further enjoy her photography passion.

Theresa is a native Californian and currently lives in Westlake Village with her husband and dog, she has three adult children and is proud of how they have spread their wings, soaring into life with the visions  of fulfilling their passions and dreams.
