Genesis Marine

Genesis is a first-generation American with Salvadoran roots. She has been an educator for seven years and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Genesis has lived in Los Angeles for the majority of her life.

Her career began as a behavioral therapist working with children with disabilities, where she developed a strong interest in behavioral and social-emotional learning. This rewarding experience inspired her to pursue school counseling, leading her to earn an M.A. in School Counseling from the University of Denver.

Genesis has been a school counselor since 2021 and is now in her second year at MUSE Global, where she finds the work both inspiring and fulfilling. In addition to her school counseling role, she is also teaching Spanish and takes great pride in introducing her first language to students.

Outside of work, Genesis enjoys exploring new places, traveling, playing board games, practicing yoga and meditation, spending quality time with loved ones, and engaging in activities that help her recharge and stay connected to the world around her.
