Middle School

The MUSE Global Middle School curriculum for 6th to 8th grade is infused with the specific passion of each student. The core subjects of language arts, math, technology, science, social studies, visual and performing arts and music are integrated into a curricular framework that include passion-based projects. Students choose their project topics which are in-depth and interdisciplinary in nature and inspire them to engage in sophisticated research. We encourage students to use their community in authentic ways, through interviews, mentorships, and real-world experiences to deepen their understanding. Projects are presented to the community at the end of each semester.

Along with core academics, students also enjoy weekly specialist courses in the areas such as Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Seed To Table and Cooking. The MUSE Middle School education develops student’s understanding of global citizenship and encourages their ability to make a difference in their communities both at home and globally.

Our 6th — 8th grade students’ are led by one advisor per grade and multiple instructors for each discipline. Specialist courses are taught by independent specialty teachers. Our College Counselor works one to one with each MUSE family as early as middle school with coaching in writing and presentation skills, finding mentorships and internships, and merging their hobbies and interests into their academic lives. It is no surprise that our graduates are accepted into 100% of the colleges of their choice, as they find and build strong and trusted relationships with their teachers and our college counselor from the time they join our MUSE Community!
