MUSE Global School is led by a highly experienced team of educators that are committed to bringing the award winning MUSE educational experience to students around the world. They lead a team of highly skilled teachers, advisors and faculty that share the same goal, vision, and mission that MUSE stands for.
MUSE Global’s Head of School, Tressa Wyner, has been a passionate educator and middle school teacher for 20 years. Originally from Minnesota, she obtained her K-8 teaching license and BA in psychology from Hamline University. Tressa joined the MUSE community in 2015 as a middle school homeroom teacher and math teacher. A certified PCM trainer since 2018, Tressa loves to help students (and parents!) learn to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts productively. Over the years, Tressa has assumed various leadership roles at MUSE, most recently becoming director of Middle High in 2023. A true believer in all of MUSE’s 5 Pillars, Tressa feels blessed to work in a school that encourages innovative life-long learners while teaching them to advocate for themselves. She invites MUSE students, teachers, and parents to take risks, play, commit to their convictions, reflect deeply, support each other, and think critically.
In her free time, Tressa enjoys visiting family in MN, cooking, being outside, and spending time with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.
Melissa has been with MUSE since February 2015. Melissa is extremely passionate about MUSE’s mission, vision, and plant based and sustainability practices. When she first heard about MUSE, there were unfortunately no open positions so she started as an unpaid intern. She quickly was promoted and worked her way up throughout the years with the guidance and mentorship of individuals on the Admin Team.
Melissa was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended UCLA where she received a BA in Sociology and Civic Engagement in 2012. Melissa now resides in South Orange County with her husband, children and vizsla pup. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature, going to the beach, running, hiking, reading, cooking and enjoying the company of her family.
Stephanie pursued a double major in political science and international studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and dedicated six years to teaching various elementary school grades. Before joining MUSE in 2022 as the Virtual Learning Environment Manager, she also served as an educational consultant for several years, providing professional development to educators. Stephanie is eager to connect with our new community in her role supporting Admissions.
Stephanie considers herself from Hawaii, Tokyo, and Texas, having spent significant parts of her life in each place. She enjoys traveling, cooking (and eating), crafting, and spending time with friends outdoors. Stephanie is excited to be working with a passionate community of educators!
