MUSE Global Students Visit Washington DC

Earlier this month, a group of MUSE Global School and MUSE Remote students set off on a whirlwind adventure to our nation’s capital, Washington D.C. This trip, which allowed our remote students to meet in person, was for more than just sightseeing. From exploring the various memorials and landmarks across the city to having thoughtful conversations at the Smithsonian museums, this trip allowed our students to get a firsthand look at the history of our great nation.
Here are some of the highlights from their trip!
Adler
“Some of my favorite times were at the White House and the post office. Hanging out with everyone was definitely the highlight, though.”
Valentina
“I really enjoyed seeing everything and all these places I have learned about throughout elementary and middle school, and finally going there in real life was awesome.”
Bo
“The [Holocaust Museum] really stuck with me. It might be my favorite part of the trip.”
Audrey
“I expected more from the White House, but the memory of being in there will stick with me forever.”
Anthony
“I really enjoyed seeing all the historic places in DC, but being able to see my friends and hang out was so much fun.”
Thought a remote school couldn’t have a solid community? You don’t know MUSE! International and Domestic Travel and our Service Learning Trips are just two of the perks of becoming a MUSE student.
