MUSE Global School Named “The Greenest Restaurant in the World

“As a campus, we are committed to staying plant-based for our health and the planet, maintaining sustainability standards, and always taking steps to reduce our energy and water usage.”

The Olympics might be over, but MUSE Global School is still bringing home the gold!

MUSE was recently recognized with top honors from the Green Restaurant Association. Our dedication to sustainability and plant-based eating has earned us the 2024 Greenest Restaurant Award, the 2024 Sustainable Food Award, and the Greenest K-12 Award!

These awards highlight our commitment to serving delicious, plant-based meals and maintaining a campus that prioritizes our wild, living earth. Sustainability is such a key part of who we are that it’s one of the Five Pillars of our MUSE philosophy! We are extremely proud of our Green Campus and OMD Kitchen, which saves over 186,550 gallons of water per student and the carbon equivalent of almost 3,000 miles driven in a car.

So we were happy to sit down with VegNews to talk about these big wins! They joined MUSE Director of Marketing, Julie Parnell, to discuss MUSE Global School, our OMD Kitchen, and all of our Green Campus Initiatives.
